That's a no from me dog.
That's a no from me dog.
I have to think Spacey released that video not knowing that charges would be filed on the same day. I just can't imagine that being such a tone deaf intentional move. I mean it wasn't a great move to begin with, but I gotta think if they imagined charges would be coming that someone would be like "hold up yo, this isn't the best idea right now".
I shouldn’t be bothered by this but he didn’t actually drink anything when he first takes a sip out of his coffee cup. And that just broke my immersion

Ellen wants Kevin Hart to host the Oscars.
Yes, My wife was watching that discussion clip between them today. Apparently, the “trolls\”haters” on the internet win if he doesn’t host it.
He's acting all reformed and even a touched victimized but it just comes off as holier than thou bullshit after all this homophobic stuff paired with his history of infidelity.
It's comedy from a decade ago. People bring it up, he tries to spin it like he's grown past that. That's not good enough and people demand an apology and he refuses. He bows out from the Oscars to prevent himself and the fact of being allowed to host it become the focus. What about any of that is holier than thou? If anything, he's right. If he hosts without addressing the issues, people will make a big deal of it, rather than the awards.
Comedians say shocking things to garner a laugh from the audience. I’m not sure why people want to take what they say at face value. They don’t necessarily believe what they say.
The jokes from a decade ago are one thing and I agree with you two on that. It’s the whole “I’m a better man today because of what mistakes I made yesterday” when you remember he cheated on his first wife with his current (he also cheated on her with lotsa other women too) and then he cheated on his current wife, while she was pregnant, with someone else.
I just don’t buy this whole “I’m a new man” PR bullshit
wtf does cheating have to do with any the rest of that?
For the third time, I’m saying he’s acting like some reformed saint and I don’t buy it. That’s it.
I dunno, it's all spin. How else do you spin it to keep afloat? The tried and true approach appears to be admitting the actions/faults, explaining it was a different time, you've grown, you're not the same, then go back to winning. Other approaches or defenses tend to implode and end in a dead career, yeah?
Not defending the actions, that's some shit. But at the same time, I don't know what he was going through. I can't relate with cheating on a wife, but I remember being accused of cheating in college when some crazy broke up, but caught me with a new GF in public and accused me of cheating on her just to try and ruin things, which she did. Gives me pause before assuming things anymore. Usually there's context behind the actions.
dunno what's still so complicated about this. Whether you want him to apologize or not, mans continues to lie about having already done so. I truly don't care if you take responsibility for your tone deaf, unfunny jokes, but stop trying to victimize yourself under the pretenses of "nobody will accept my apology!" when you haven't made one. Move on and shut up about it
upset gays aren't the ones on Ellen looking for sympathy my guy
Chris Brown has been detained by police in Paris on suspicion of rape. Insert surprised face.
He's been behaving himself for a while now. Curious how he ducked this up
