CBS says they are cancelling Jeremy Piven's new show because of allegations. Now I don't know the status of the show's ratings and whether they were great or terrible so I can't judge if this is CBS being legit or trying to save face.

This is why part of why I advocate victims pressing charges immediately rather than remaining silent for twenty years.

For real though, solution's pretty straight forward. If someone comes out immediately and goes to the police instead of social media, back them to the hilt so they get their day in court. If someone comes out with accusations twenty years later you put them in the stockade and throw vegetables at them(metaphorically) to punish them for their cowardice which allowed a predator to rack up more victims and is thus a moral failing on their part, or you stockade them for being a spiteful attention whore trying to ruin someone else's life because they felt spurned years after a consensual sexual escapade.

Devils advocate here but that's alleged victims. Just as you can't make googles claim that they must be fake because they didn't go anywhere you can't make the claim they aren't.
