In my experience when you are shooting nude scenes you should err on the side of being extra accommodating and respectful to the talent - sounds like Franco went the opposite direction on that.

What show/movie were these people on? I'd be annoyed too if I'm supposed to shoot a sex scene but the only naked person is a man lol. Idk, there's a level of respect that needs to be maintained for women, but at the same time there is an artistic direction that's trying to be followed. You'd think in contract negotiations this would all come up, and if it did and they changed their minds after then lol. I haven't read anything saying he assaulted the women though, afaik they all just felt uncomfortable doing sex scenes with a future Oscar winner. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.

Basically, even if they’ve signed a contract, there are a lot of options and stipulations in place in favour of helping out actors and actresses who have to perform. The end bit about an actor or actress getting cold feet being allowed to back out even up to the day of the shoot is particularly interesting. But it also goes over how EVERYTHING being filmed in the scene should be laid out and described in great detail beforehand (like how they’ll shoot and camera angles and coverage and etc etc) so Franco doing shit like removing plastic guard coverings and being mad when girls got cold feet is a big no no as far as the actor’s union is concerned

I still want to read a full account of what they're alledging though. Did anyone force them to participate after they got cold feet? The plastic gaurd thing is shady on Francos part, but I haven't read anything that explains what happened after he did it. Did they force them to continue? Did they stop shooting? Did they break down into tears? Did they all laugh and move on with their lives?
