Should note that Nynja is from Canada land where the laws on this are kind of insane. It can be closer to what Nynja stated... and they can and have even gone back and had retrials for people who were already acquitted and convicted. And sometimes getting an appeal is harder than the retrial

you trend towards believing the accusers because every credible study done paints unfounded (which does not necessarily mean false*) rape accusations as a sub-10% threshold of all accusations, which if my math checks out means over 90% of the time that nigga did that shit. you don't convict on that, as Blackstone said it is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer, and one should examine each charge on a case by case basis, but statistically speaking the bias is overwhelmingly in favor of the accusers. in Freeman's case, you have eight different individuals making the accusations, you have the accusations corroborated by eight others who were not themselves victimized, and you have off the record individuals laughing when questioned about the reports because it was such a widely known secret. to not at least lean toward thinking him guilty speaks only to prejudice in the observer.
