There has been more than one study on unreported rapes, and it's perfectly logical for how the victims feel to enter into the equation. Regretting sleeping with someone is not rape. Forcing, tricking, drugging and non-consenting are. You want to play this stupid "absence of evidence is not evidence" bullshit, but your entire argument basically falls back on that. Bringing up unreported rape was a bonus that sits on the top of actual rape cases, along with marital rape and dumb laws that let people slide up until after the early 90s.
NOBODY is claiming the burden of proof is NOT on the prosecution. We are saying dudes that get jammed up for rape most likely did it in the same way people locked up for murder without parole most likely did it, and guess what? Before those dudes go to trial for murder, they are accused for it then charged. We are saying the women that are pulling the "he raped me lolz" successfully getting dudes locked up in this day and age are of a severe minority. Why? A. Because there are a shitload of social reasons why a majority of women don't want to make the shit up and B. You know, proof.
