Yarr, mateys!
I subbed to some Hulu + Disney combo deal awhile ago. Not sure how long it lasts but I pay $5.28 for Hulu and Disney+. Ad-supported Hulu was $2 and I could add ad-free Disney+ for $3 more. I got my first 3 years of Disney+ for $160 in a deal they had when the service was rolling out.

Marvel Studios has rescheduled several of its Disney+ shows as the company continues to feel the impact of the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. The affected shows, in chronological order of release, are:
Season 2 of “What If…?,” the MCU’s first animated series, will now open in December over the holiday season. The show was originally set to debut in early 2023, but has been delayed for unspecified reasons.
“Echo” — a spin-off of 2021’s “Hawkeye” starring Alaqua Cox as Marvel’s first Native American and first deaf superhero — has moved from Nov. 29 to January 2024. The show is still set to release all episodes at once, the first binge release for a Marvel Cinematic Universe series on Disney+.
“X-Men ’97,” an update of the popular animated “X-Men” series from the 1990s, has moved from a fall 2023 release to early 2024.
And finally, the “WandaVision” spin-off “Agatha” — starring Kathryn Hahn as disgraced witch Agatha Harkness — is now pegged to debut in the fall of 2024, likely around the Halloween season. The show, which completed filming before the SAG-AFTRA strike, was originally announced with the title “Agatha: House of Harkness”; then in July 2022, Marvel studio chief referred to the show as “Agatha: Coven of Chaos.” But now the show’s title seems to be “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries” — though a source with knowledge of the show says that the changing titles are less a sign of indecision on Marvel’s part and more a suggestion that Agatha is up to her old skulduggery.
I don't WANT an Agatha Harkness show, I want a show where Kathryn Hahn dresses as a Witch and narrates Marvel horror stories like the Crypt Keeper.

Gargoyles live action reboot is in the works. Though it appears from the info here that in this version, Goliath is the last surviving Gargoyle.
Y tho
They should cast Keith David. Call it a hunch but I think he’d make an awesome Goliath.
I hope they continue the tradition of casting Star Trek actors
I loved Gargoyles. I don't understand what a live action version is supposed to mean. Like that Lion King remake, or something else?
Good question. Power Ranger style live action or we talking Buffy/Angel? Or in the same vein of those corny Descendents shows.
It could work, but I worry about them just making a CGI monstrosity for Goliath and him being the only gargoyle to make it sounds like they're doing exactly that to keep the budget down. And even if they went more for practical, I don't see them hiring some near seven foot bodybuilder to put in a suit just to chase name recognition for the role. Or put another way, the Wonder Woman/She-Hulk issue all over again, just with a guy this time around.
Yeah, only having Goliath is 100% a budget thing. If it picks up steam I could see them getting a bigger budget, but it won't because they're trying to cash in on the nostalgia while missing most of the ensemble that made the show.
Gotta love all these deconstructing the only surviving hero in your favorite show/story shit Disney has been doing lately.
Can't wait for the Duck Tales sequel, Duck Tales Extreme, where Launchpad is an alcoholic adoptive father after Huey and Louie disappeared with Donald in a freak accident thanks to Gizmoduck and Scrooge had long since died without leaving a will and his fortune was usurped by Glomgold. Mama Beagle is the president.
In other news, Netflix just raised the price of premium subscription to $23/mo lmao. Fuck that. I haven't subbed to Netflix in 5 years, and when I was using my friends I maybe used it once a month. That's fucking insanity. And I'm sure the others will follow suit soon. Only one I have is D+ til May of 2024 and then I'm out of everything. Plenty of room on the seas for all of us mateys!
But don't you want to cut the cord?!?! Cable is SO expensive!
