Wasn't expecting F9 to be #1

They're not killing the super mega dinosaur tamer in the first sequel. This ain't Best of the Best.
Just saw it. Absolutely fucking gorgeous movie. The story won't blow you away, but there's nothing wrong with it either. Well worth a watch just to see how beautiful it is again.
Yeah, perfectly fine to watch once. Story ain't stellar, but you'll enjoy it for what it is. 3D movies are back!

Just got back from it, what they ^ said.
So what would the people rooting for the humans in in first movie think of this one?
The humans are cartoonishly evil in this one.
But also, it makes sense, because of course the people that are hired to go whaling and colonizing on an alien planet would be evil.
But all those people who bought 3D TVs a decade ago need content!
I want to see this in its expected medium (high frame rate 3-D), but fuck if I'm going into a theater still. How are the ships and mechs in this one? I loved that technology clash between the humans and Na'vi in the first film.
Mech/Tech is SSS Tier.
Real talk, if Disney wanted to go Full Franchise on this, the smartest thing they could do would to spend a number of years making a Nat Geo like nature documentary for Pandora like

just as an excuse to generate 3D assets to populate Films/TV
The movie has zero competition, the next major thing is Ant-Man mid February.
This is gonna stay in theaters for a while, it'll probably do fine in the end.
Also, the budget is from filming 2 and 3 at the same time.
When is the third expected to release?
