I enjoyed the flick once I turned my brain off. Biggest waste imo was Snoke. You had all this build up between the two movies and he's killed with no closure. So he's just some random dark side guy who was powerful enough to keep the Empire from collapsing. But didn't see a fucking light saber moving six inches to his right. K.

You can also enjoy something while still thinking it's bad or bad in terms of how it works in a franchise/trilogy. I've certainly loved the heck out of movies that I still thought were bad overall

Where the fuck did I say that? The only thing I said is I'm seeing a heck of a lot more negative reviews from people than from websites that seem desperate to explain it away. It doesn't matter if people like or don't like it. It DOES matter when you have such a strong disconnect between the media folks who seem to adore it and the general audience who is very mixed. You're reference to the electoral college is cute because that's another place where the media was so fucking sure about one result and got another.
