The main character finds the Jedi Master but he is reluctant to provide training, and even though he eventually agrees the MC has visions through the Force that make him go off to seek out the main villain before completing training over the warnings of the Jedi Master.
Meanwhile the Rebels go to a decadent city maintained by its close connection to the bad guys to seek out someone who can help them fight said bad guys. They find who they're looking for but he ends up betraying them. While all this is happening the bad guys pursue a Rebel craft through the galaxy.
The main character eventually does reach the main villain and after a fight the villain reveals a tragic truth about the main character's parentage, then offers that they overthrow the current order and join forces to rule the galaxy together. Eventually after a lightsaber fight starring Luke Skywalker all the main cast escapes on the Millennium Falcon.
Oh also during the course of the movie a rebel base on a primarily-white planet is destroyed by a bad guy attack and there are lots of giant long-legged walking robots.
But yeah, the plot of Last Jedi made no sense and was boring/stupid.
