On that note, I have yet to get a single Evrae drop. 8 Sirens and a Seraph so far.
I can't imagine doing magicites without a drop tracker. The amount of garbage I would have had so far would have been astounding.
So what does the drop tracker do exactly? I've heard it mentioned a few times in various places.
Seems like the new dungeons are bugged, I see people getting errors and being unable to enter them. Not sure if it applies to all dungeons or just the new additions.
Its the ff8 dungeon for me. I guess its cause of the new boss.
Fixed now apparently. No apology mythril this time lol.
Edit: Some Glints are getting buffed in JP. En-ele Glints will all receive an higher damage buff for each tier for abilities and SBs. Warrior of Light, Terra, Locke, Squall, Tidus, Ashe, Sora x3, Riku's Glints now have a High Quick cast 2 effect added to them.
Luneth, Cloud & Lightning instead have 6 attacks added to them (ele/non-ele as usual).
High quickcast 2 is kind of boring (trade a turn now for saving slightly more time later but over 2 turns) but the 6 attacks seem really interesting.
I realized today that my hades setup doesn't actually need a r3/r1 assault sabre and I could use my existing guardbringer/divine cross combo. Whoops.
Squall is gonna be crazy after this buff honestly. Start battle with en-ice LMR> Glint (I'm assuming this will enable stacking and give him tier 2 already)> Quickcast BSB2/USB2 (additional stack reaching cap)> Quickcast command 1 for his BSB> profit.
He maxes out very fast and each tier is getting buffed as well. Probably won't matter on most content but for 5* Magicites and Torments this will be huge.
I don't know, IIRC trading an ATB for more damage means that you have to be getting a lot more damage out of it to be worth it so I think the high quickcast is necessary (plus the half bar and diminishing returns from increasing the enelement effect - that's what they're adding right, more enelement stack damage?)
They're buffing the elemental damage bonus from each stack, yes. You only need to cast the Glint once in Squall's case though, after that you're free unless you let his En-ice fall off for some reason. Sora needs to recast his though, maybe not if you're doing sub-30 runs but he doesn't have any way to get En- buffs without Glints. I'm totally expecting the multipliers for those 6 hitters to be very low anyway but then again Quickcast wouldn't really work well with Lightning and Luneth's USB effects.
Yeah, I agree with all that (I should have quoted robert to make it clearer). The celerity type USBs (lightning, luneth) benefit from the damage glints because it lets them use the high quickcast charge on a non element thing like magicites to act as a pseudo powerchain (mostly magis) then restart the cycle for free. A non damaging glint would not do that because it has to be an element attack for cycle.
So, since i'm bored, I figured i'd ask what future 6* ability are people saving for? I'm saving up for R4 Vortex/Chain-Thundaja (For Ashe USB), R3 Explosion/Thunderstorm Strike, and R4 Instant Thunder/Wind Celerity (for Lightning USB).
So far i'm halfway there for Black Crystals and Lightning Crystals.
I'm much more focused on getting 5* abilities in working order. Whatever crystals I have available after the mainstays (2x SSS, Vali, Affliction, Omega Drive, Meltdown, etc) are gravy. Luckily, i'm down to just thunder witch and darkness abilities until I decide I want a 2nd set of the Ninja skills.
Would probably focus on the spellblades first though. Squall, Celes, and Bartz are three of my most versatile characters.
