Also you can do well with breaks while leaving pro/shell at home. Jitterbug + Full Break + MBD/PBD (and in my case, Meliadoul BSB ATK/DEF) down makes the incoming damage very manageable.

I don't really have any breaks that synergize well into a team, and that would be the only way to make it work. No point sacrificing 2 slots(pro/shell) for 4 breaks

Ixions basically a slightly souped up 3 star, his defense and stuff really suck. The problem is it randomly swaps into a high eva mode (bad for phys) high def mode both of which dont last a long time, and does a lot of aoe dispel along with ST. If you can handle the dispels bartz can basically sub 45 or so it on his own with usb/burst and probably sub 30 with a ninja doing earth skills (no need for a soulbreak)...OK's physical usb helps but honestly with enearth on the usb will just be melting ix.

Yeah if it's really worth it then I'll look into diving a double-hit ninja with no SB. My water team is very strong but not quite able to get in under 30 seconds (32.56 is my lowest). Pretty sure a ninja would fix this problem instantly, but didn't want to spend precious dex motes to dive a character with no SB just for one fight. To sub 30 one fight and get at least a clear on another? Better justification.

Yeah; I mean you don't have to do it (if you just need clear in a reasonable amount of time bartz is plenty, and you can run earthbringer or later earth saber or something) or have OK use nin skills with no dive, but it's pretty good to have around.

As far as breaks go, I didn't find much use for offensive breaks, but def/res breaking is pretty nice (a 50% res/def break goes to 20% with 40% break resistance, so it's like doing armor breakdown on a normal mob) but not necessary. I use it because I use pen usb for blinking the dispels.

So when doing hydra I tried using earthbringer on Gladiolus with wall/protect, but the damage was only 3k~ per hit x5 so I just stuck with a capped out Gaia's Cross. I do have Dogrann's emperil earth BSB, which also raises att 30% and small def and dmg increase cmd1/att, def increase cmd2, but does no entry damage. Dogrann's LMR is moderate x2 on knight abilities, so this might be a good option but it's dex motes again ugh. I actually switched Dogrann out of my Hydra team because I needed more damage and Gladiolus was able to push me down to sub-30 with his OSB, but maybe now is a good time to bring him back.

FF5 (Krile focused)
FF15 (2 events, one following Noctis on his journey, the other is a FFXV fishing event, with unique RW that summons Noctis fishing for prizes)
and EoM FF2 featuring Hilda being added! Also FF2 neo torment.

Edit: It was FFXV that was hinted as getting a torment (betting on Titan), not FF2, but FF2 is EoM so I bet its getting one as well.

Will leave FF1, FF3?, FF10, FF11, FF14, and Type 0 without a neo torment and I bet some realms will get a 2nd torment before XI/XIV gets one.

Edit2: FF6 & 13 this month for record dungeons, FF3 & 10 in May. Only thing of note from Q & A was they took a poll with 51% wanting farming RMs easier and they are looking to increase characters beyond LD.
