A weird thing that sometimes works is if you tap somewhere else on the screen it will reset it and work. Its not foolproof but it does help a tiny bit.

Finished up holy so all magis done (with level 65/80s for inheritance but thats fine by me). Would rather be getting orbs and crystals than exp on meaningless characters anyway.

0%, Next event datamine is May 30th, so if we do get it translated, it would land in June. But don't worry about clearing torment CMs before CMs end, Acolytes Archives will have Torment CMs till Torments 2.0 comes out.

The XI CM is very possible with an ability only setup.

Curilla brings draw fire and a cure spell, then back row her. Ayame carries hailstorm and then a damage ability like Omega Drive. Shantotto can self buff with MM and then your chainspell of choice. Other slots are up to you, but obviously a healer and support.

I did have Shantotto BSB so was able to carry MM/Meteor for trash. But with Curilla taking the back row hits you can do enough damage with regular hits after a hailstorm buff on Ayame to manage. Since you're bot worried about SB's, you could even get crafty and use the Attack -> Bladeblitz/Ruinga RM's. You do enough damage with just HS/MM on buffs.

I did Squall BSB2 for RW on Ayame, but you can do Rapha or Raines BSB on Shantotto if you would rather. I did it pre magicite too, so a good deck with Enkidu gives you 2 strong safety nets as well.

Since it was mentioned on Reddit and not here, with the Cid Missions switching to Acolyte Archives on May 30, you can double dip on monthly rewards if you complete the Magicite 5 mythril and CT 30x 5* motes before the switch.

Edit: To make it clearer, if you are willing to redo CT and do 20x magicite fights, you can get an extra 30x 5* motes and 5 mythril before June arrives a few days later.

To be fair this is most likely just a messed up translation. This was not true for the JP version and it's unlikely to be true here. All missions that carry over will also have their status carried over as well so if you've cleared them they remain cleared.
I'd still clear them early just in case but don't expect extra mythril or motes.

5/29: 14/15 Keystones +2 Bank. Maintenance.
5/30: 15/15 Keystones +2 Bank. Acolyte Archives start.
Use 6 stones for (potential) Acolyte Archives weekly/monthly missions.

It's ok to plan, mistakes have happened in GL before and will likely happen again, but the previous mission announcement clearly stated that some missions will carry over to the new system including their completion status.
Clear the tower now to be safe and eventually clear again if they mess up but if everything goes right there will be no double rewards. I wouldn't mind some easy 5* motes but I won't bet on it being possible.

so, help me with Tiamat. I've seen a million youtubes that show folks completing in under 30secs with just snowspell strikes, and Raijins instant-cast SSB.

but when I use...

99 - OK -Entrust, Wrath - pUSB - Dr Mog
99 - Sora - Snowspell x6, nothing - IceGlint, BSB, AOSB - +40% weakness
99 - Relm - Curada, Protectga - USB -
99 - Squall - Snowspell x6, nothing - Glint, BSB2 - +40% Ice
99 - Ramza - Entrust, Wrath - not used - mako might

...using the party-instantcast technique with Relm instead of Fujin, I can only sub-30 if I get lucky with spell-blade double-procs, which both Sora and Squall have via LMRs. However, it's not a very reliable sub-30. ...but at the same time, I'm almost done with Tiamat so maybe it doesn't matter? <.<

I have Rinoa with Chain, BSB2, and Ultra, but I only have enough 5* motes to legend dive her halfway (which I have done), and she doesn't do any more damage than either Squall or Sora, even with fewer double-procs.

Squall and Sora have +Ice Armor, but no +Ice Weapon
Rinoa has a +Ice weapon and Armor

Im using Dulahan magicite for +Ice boost to PT

I feel like I have more than enough Ice damage to not be having an issue with sub 30ing this.

Why are you not using Rinoa with Chain? O.O Get rid of an entruster and put her in, you don't need two. I'd say Ramza, he's useless in your setup and Rinoa will dish out more damage than him for sure (while boosting everyone with the Chain). Entrust Squall and let Sora do his thing with Glint if needed.
Chains are the number one priority for faster kills, always.

...use the chain and kick za out. I use a strat like that because I don't have a chain, but squall and sora want chain.

EDIT: wendigo for imperil is more dasmage IIRC. No curada? Not that I use it myself I guess...

That's actually how I was doing it before I saw the youtubes showing the instant-party strat. Using that method though, Relm cant keep up with healing.

For people pulling on FF6 for Celes...consider that her entire kit (AOSB, USB, Glint, LMR i believe) shows up on the fall festival banner as a group - meaning its less likely to be broken up.

Since I didn't see it mentioned, MVP newsletter came out and reveals Record Dungeons (Original story involving Tyro & co as they relive classic FF in 2D animation) will be coming alongside Acolate Archive on May 30th (to the surprise of no one).

They are also giving us 10 free mythril for the update and a special video detailing what's in store for future global exclusive content. (Come on GL exclusive Chrono Trigger collab! j/k, we know JP will get it exclusively instead).
