yeah i'm very much in the need more power orbs camp as well, i've been dumping most of my stamina potions there the last few weeks. still need lots of dark and ice too since i need to do dark blender to R5 to max out the rank boost effect on yuffie.

I think 2x R4 dark blender would be sufficient for Yuffie. That 100 MDO is ridiculous for an extra 5% damage.

Not sure what the applicable percent damage increase it is, but for reference, a 30% damage RM vs 40% ninja damage RM is considered a 5% DPS increase as this post says.

That's because the damage equation uses record materia+record spheres for one of the inputs. I assume SBs are like ex mode damage buffs and multiply straight through (so 1.3/1.2=8.3% damage difference). I can see how r5 changes the value of the glint.

hmm, i'm open to the idea of 2x R4. would that make more sense in siren vs. (rX dark shadow skill+r5 dark blender) considering i also have her LMR for pre-glint RNG blink application? i normally wouldn't bother with R5 but she's not advantaged with dark (i keep water at R4 since i have both her USB2 and water chain so capping on that element is np)

Once again as a reminder, when JP got AA, the torment CMs did transfer over. They only left after the renewal and Dena gave a BIG warning to complete 5* mote CM before the renewal.

Really doubt they'll do differently for us.

Yeah I think so. The magicite CMs were what I was hoping he could hit because torments are kind of lengthy stam and time wise (and apparently they arent going away).

Basically torments for d200 CMs you want to bring 5 in realm characters, d300 up to 3 in realm. For magicites bring anyone but they resist elements except for the one theyre vulnerable to. If your hones are bad you can take bursts but the commands are generally outdated except for stuff like squall burst 2. At this point I’d just start learning about the game and do whatever you can

EDIT because phone: you can get far enough just doing healer damage damage support (hastega buff) and flex (more damage or someone to use the skill entrust). I’d read the new player guide on reddit because theres a lot of stuff in ffrk and I’m not surehow much you know.

Oh, there is the possibility we can double up crystal tower and ffvi event CMs (I doubt it but maybe). FFVI is straightforward bring 5 VI chars to a specific event stage. Crystal tower is 4 stages doable in any order; when you complete a stage all members in that party can’t be used again in another stage. You can retreat to reset this but the CM rewards are for doing as many stages without retreating as possible. These will be available post AA so no need to worry but dena has opened the possibility that we’ll get new similar quests aftee AA which would give us more rewards.

Spent almost the entire weekend spamming last two Isgebinds, 24 Tiamats, 24 Midgars, and 3 Ixions before finally using up all my keystones... I have 8 of each Ice, Wind, and Earth magicite - and it's amazing how much easier they become with 2x level 99 of the Dampen Magicites (or one 99 and one 80+).

I got Cinques USB, fully dived her, and tossed a ton of orbs into 4x Gigant Swing, and 6x Grand Charge... just to find out Edge, with earth ninja magic was faster, and with USB0, saved on healing... my PT is dual entrusting Relm though, so I might swap out OK for Edge, and see how 3x DD does on Ixion, once I get a new keystone. <.<

If you have earth chain, then 3x dps will be good. Otherwise you want to go 2x dps. My sub 30 Ixion team is this

DPS is so fast I tend to screw myself and get hit by a savage Aerospark. Probably be a bit more reliable once WHM Hastega ability gets added.
