For those wondering, the boss info got posted for JP Lilisette event, it is indeed WoTG themed and the ultimate++ fight is Lilith's RDM/Cor duo, Apoc+ is Lady Lillith, and Apoc++ is Lillith Ascendent (Final boss of WoTG).

Sad to not see Cait Sith + Atomos fight or Lady Lilith's parents group fight, but happy to see the rest.

Most of the JP banners are underwhelming these days. I think the last hyped banner was the next VIII banner (appropriately named Quinoa), can't remember any other really. Then again it really depends on your needs for realm/elemental stuff.

Yuna Brave and Ysh Brave are the next banners, but I believe those fall in the "great, old shit" group.

At this point, pretty much everything. No overwhelming concentration of ultras or aosbs and my draws have just been utter LMR and low quality burst garbage recently.

I'd say target the realms you're lacking stuff in and hope for the best. Like I said the upcoming FFVIII banner 1 has a ton of great relics for Rinoa/Quistis, Laguna's Chain and Squall's new toys (on top of being a Torment banner) but if you're fine in FFVIII you should probably pull elsewhere. We're getting 5* thunder magicites very soon so evaluate your physical/magical teams for those and see what you're potentially lacking. Although the upcoming Fest banner for earth is completely magical based so there's no physical option there.

Well physical earth I'm pretty sure I'm okay, I'm could use a stone presser but I can field celes/tyro/elarra for everything and have bartz glint/usb1. Basically for 5 star magis my physical teams are all set thanks to the spellbladers.

Type-0 event is dropping near the Fest actually (featuring Stone Press queen) but that banner is a mixed bag honestly with Sice and Seven being kinda meh imo.

Yeah upcoming type zero doesn't interest me too much. I'll give it a thought. Maybe one after that though.

I'm groaning at the thought of 1 burst per banner and replacing them with LMRs; yeah I get so little value out of bursts nowadays but LMRs with no soul break are just...

Well this time I actually grinded to cap Tyro/Elarra in the record dungeons lol. Poor Seifer, getting his ass kicked repeatedly by two little kids.

DeNa made a post last week stating that, people should avoid upgrading to 9.0 since its not completely compatible with the game yet. A fix is in the works but no time table on when its coming out.

I really can't think of anything other than Monster Hunter that a new collab could be for. Unless they want to get crazy and do DQ11.
