Amazon has their own service they they have been building up over the past few years. They recently started, or at least from what I've noticed, taking pictures of how they've left your packages on your doorstep. They used to be terrible to (YMMV) more reliable than USPS. To this day, if it's coming by USPS I still debate whether I need to wait outside my door for them to make sure they attempt to drop it off.

That is the goal. Package delivery is one of the only growth areas for USPS revenue. Get rid of that, make the whole post office defunct and fully privatize it.

These tweets are just more Donnie repeating bullshit often enough to get people to believe it. The post office as a whole loses money...but it's not because of Amazon. Package delivery, of which Amazon has been a driving force, is where the Post Office actually makes money. Fuck reality though, just shout loud and often enough and your constituents will take it as fact.
