"Military doctor's foolish devotion to being honest with the American people causes national security issue'
I mean the real question is why can't we trust this administration to give out a basic analysis of the president's health without most of this forum questioning its legitimacy.
Yeah, do cost benefit on this:
1) they day he is unfit, some Trump haters get their jollies and now the world knows that the president is mentally incompetent
2) they say he is great, nothing happens
you're just plain stupid if you think he's in "excellent health" at that size - if he's in such excellent health why are they going to do a daily exercise plan and try to drop 15lbs?
Obviously he's in great health because of his perfect white genes.

Picture you are the doctor to the most powerful person in the world. Now picture the security of your country and the faith of the rest of the world in its ability to lead hinges on whether they believe your leader to be mentally fit and capable. Imagine how destabilized the world would become in an instant if they said "Donald Trump shows early signs of dementia" and the media ran with it.
Doctors, and especially military doctors, are bound by an ETHICS code, not an honesty code. Being open and honest is great and all, but when your duty is to do the least harm (no harm is preferable 99.9% of the time) possible to a patient and the least harm is "I don't want to destabilize the civilized world" you are going to lie.
I'm sorry that's a hard pill for you to swallow, but it is what it is. Whether he was appointed by Obama or not doesn't excuse the fact that every doctor on the planet, including him, knows how full of shit his assessment is. Would you rather the alternative be true, that he came out on national television and said "yea that fucker is fat, crazy, and dying"?
I don't mean to be a jerk, Day, but you're as far out of your element here as our atmosphere is from M1.
This guy graduates med school and can diagnose patients telepathically.
Ok Doogie if you say so
So does Day think the doctor is telling the truth 100%?
despite all the proof that Trump is not 6'3?
He's been already asked this, and you know full well Day won't entertain the question because it goes against his both sides narrative. By all evidence Trump is not 6' 3", that alone puts into question everything else the doctor has said.

I'm mostly with Day on this one actually, I've been given no reason to doubt Jackson's findings beyond that the President likes to exaggerate his height.
Not gonna think too hard about this unless some kind of other evidence comes to light.
