We cannibalize each other when we win elections. We cannibalize each other when we lose elections. Jfc every political group has it's issues but dems are annoying in a very certain way.

Cannibalism makes the party strong.

this made me lawl
I'll take shitty dems flipping red districts any day of the week but running lefties in safely blue districts plagued by centrist dem incumbents is actually the move. Sadly no one in the shitass party wants to do that.
Speaking of which
Rand Paul said he's going to oppose both the Pompeo at State and Haspel at CIA. That means if no Democrats (like Feinstein, whose office I called yesterday to simply tell her staffer that I don't want her to put a literal war criminal in charge of the CIA) break ranks, if only 1 other Republican votes no (like, say, torture victim John McCain), Haspel is DOA.
Pompeo will almost certainly be confirmed, being that he was confirmed for his current CIA position with 67 votes.
Sorry I couldn't resist

i love that the left's narrative has shifted from Democrats can't win to Democrats aren't winning with the right kind of candidates
ag says the tax bill is good
I don't know what to believe anymore :/
Just wait for it to trickle down, Yuri.
You're surprised the democratic narrative starts to shift after an Alabama Senate win, and a win in a district that just a year ago was 20 points in the red? Should we just not discuss the ramifications and pretend they don't offer insight into how dems can win elections?
Or are dems supposed to be happy they don't win seats and enjoy being the minority in power. Wth lol.

Good short Nate Silver article about how the current Dem+8.4 generic ballot polling is likely underselling the Dem advantage, because most of those polls are of either registered voters or "all adults" - and while that's appropriate for polls in March about November elections, when pollsters switch to "likely voter" models, it's probable that the Dem enthusiasm advantage will translate to a wider margin than we're currently seeing (pushing it somewhere closer to the margins we're seeing in special elections).

He's basically saying "the corporate rate was too high, this fixed that".
Is McCain actualy going to be healthy enough to go back to the Senate for votes? He's pretty far along in his cancer treatment. Without him it would be 50-49 against if Democrats voted together. Of course, that won't happen because some fuck like Manchin will vote for her because apparently justifying torture is bipartisan these days.
Maybe in the summer, according to his daughter.

He really should retire, so Dems have another seat to shoot for in the fall.
