My bad about Paul Ryan. It was only a $500k donation by the Kochs for passing the tax bill.
Now I almost feel bad for him. Unless he's going to return to the woods, $500k is only a downpayment on a house in DC. It's almost certainly less than two years of earnings for him post-congress.
What is that terrible thing is that some sort of animatronic brought to life by sorcery
going to assume trolling from both of you

Mulvaney To Congress: Thanks To You, I Don’t Have To Answer Any Of Your Questions — Ever“I encourage you to consider the possibility that the frustration you are experiencing now, and that which I had a few years back, are both inevitable consequences of the fact that the Dodd-Frank… Act insulates the Bureau from virtually any accountability to the American people through their elected representatives,” Mulvaney wrote. (To Warren)
That is top fucking tier.

Freedom Caucus co-founder is also running for Speakership.
So this is how the tea party takes over the Republican party.

No one from FC would have the votes to sniff speakership. Yesterday Scalise said he would support McCarthy if he went after speaker/minority leader. He probably doesn't have the votes either tho LOL. This shit rules
The best were the (now defunct) rumors that Preibus was gonna go after Ryan's house seat. oh well
SPEAKER NUNES ANYONE?
in nightmare world maybe
Any chance Nunes doesn't win his House seat back?
California does a jungle primary. Its likely dems can split the vote hard enough to not even have a single D on the ticket.
He's our representative. I can't see him not clinching it.
Can't happen because of how it could blowback the other way.
His district is CA-22, and ballotpedia is showing him as the only R primary candidate this time. Since there is no 2nd R candidate, a D is likely in November (I mean, a libertarian or independent could get the 2nd spot, but it's unlikely.)
Whereas if there were 2 R, and that vote was split, there's a risk you could get 2 D with a wave, so the party is probably playing it safe.
