Long story short, coal baron that skimped on safety regulations that led to a mine disaster that killed a bunch of miners. Evaded harder jail time with some slimy lawyering, fell off the grid for a short while, and I guess basically decided to come back as part of Trump's corporate greed enabling. I'd joke that the ugly fuck is a Paul Bearer wannabe, but that'd be disrespectful to that WWE character and he literally didn't kill people despite playing the role of a supernatural mortician.

Aside from blaming Obama and his cronies for the mine stuff and making him the scapegoat, one of his greater campaign no-nos was taking advantage of one of the sisters of the slain miners who had been in and out of mental institutions since his death and is more or less mental mush. Dude just wants to make me retch every time I see/hear his ads, which is damn near at least once every half hour at this point.

I'd love it if they would. Even before I came around on climate change, I was basically pro-environmentalism on ethical grounds, fiscal grounds, and religious grounds. The instinctive, "DEMOCRATS FOR WE MUST BE AGAINST" from so many has been a massive point of frustration in dealing with Republicans for my 20 years of political awareness.

Cordray has been leading Kucinich in the polls by 10-15 points, but the polls have like half the likely voters as undecided so who knows.
