The Second to Last Movie You Saw and Would Recommend?

Been meaning to watch Borderline because I love Samara Weaving. She pumps out alot of quality. Ready or Not, Babysitter 1 and 2, Guns Akimbo, Azrael, 3 Billboards (weird that 2 horror queens are in THIS movie (Kathryn Newton)).

Ray Nicholson is also just creepy as fuck in it. Was like watching his dad in The Shining.

oh i saw azrael earlier this year and super enjoyed it. the zombies in that were the first to freak me out in a long, long, long time.

Nonna's on Netflix surprised me with how sweet it was. Also a really nice movie if you've lost someone and still think about them.

28 Years is a trio of projects, and I think the first 2 were shot either at the same time or close together or something, last I heard it's out in January

Just came back from seeing Weapons. It's not so much a horror movie, sorta more like Bring Her Back. Character driven thriller mystery? With some graphic violence. Absolutely loved it though, didn't mind dropping 20 bucks on it

Yup. It's a great example of what I call "smart horror" which means it is more suspense with smart characters and an intriguing concept (although it does have a couple of jump scares, for sure). The film does an excellent job of 'showing, not telling'. Highly recommended, and the less you know about it going in, the better. Same guy who did Barbarian, if that tells you anything.

The guy directing it also directed one of my favorite movies of all time (I Dont Feel at Home in this World Anymore) . Also directed a fantastic low budget horror called Murder Party. I had the utmost faith this was going to be excellent. I cannot wait to see it.

I also read something, hopefully not here and I'm valisking, that they had some of the marketing budget left and rather than some expensive frivolous stunt or promotion are donating funds to a nonprofit that buys out medical debts for poor people. something like 5mil of debt being erased up front, and then another million per million it makes in box office (the debt apparently is bought out at low rates because idk how else that could be viable)
