them to do more exploring of the backrooms and show more of the weird shit. Like just a smiiiidgge more of them exploring and coming across some bizzare shit. Like there's one scene in the 2nd found footage youtube video where the girl comes across a crashed car, I was hoping for a few more things like that but that's personal preference. Most of the youtube vids are people walking around seeing weird ass shit for 20min and I don't think audiences would've been able to stomach "nothing" happening lol

It knew it's assignment. Was completely cheesy and campy, and made for an enjoyable movie.

But neither is it Lost World, War of the Worlds, Crystal Skull, or BFG

It was easily the best of the most recent 3 films I saw in theaters (this, Mandalorian, and MK2), but still average at absolute best. There were some scenes where my entire theater was laughing and it wasn't intended to be funny, which is usually a clear indicator of poor producing.

Saw Backrooms today. The sound design is the star of the movie. It's good. It's really good, actually. I just left feeling like I wanted a little bit more. Felt comparable to seeing Us.
