And you still haven't even hit the Avengers/Secret Wars stuff, the story is still going.

That said I think what you just got thru was the peak. Forever is one of the greatest stories I think ever read in any medium, how intricately layered it all was up to that point was just incredible, and Johnny throwing the 4 up in the sky is some the sweetest emotional payoff I've ever seen

I’m like 3 issues past this now on both ff and fantastic four and it just keeps building. This is awesome

Finally got around to reading Battle Chasers. Lots of fun, right up until I went to order volume 2 and found out there is no volume 2. Painful.

Wow. I played the game as I wanted a simple turn based rpg (it’s pretty fun) and had no idea it was based on a comic. TiL.

I'm so mad Hickman is leaving the X-desk.

You read Hickman stories so that you can see the breadcrumbs add up to a whole slice and then pull back and get the entire loaf revealed.

The Hellfire Gala gave us that first slice and you can tell reading Inferno that this was going to start to be the pullback but it's over here and whatever else he had planned we'll never know.

I’m a bit optimistic. I think Hickman created the modern X-office and that machine is turning is all we needed. I did subscribe to his sub stack, so I’m glad he now has free reign to create stories without corporate strings. Also apparently he REALLY fucking hates solicits, and coming from manga I can see why.

Fine Print by Stjepan Sejic came out. If you read Sunstone and/or you want an adult comic featuring succubi, cupids, and questionable decision making, it is really enjoyable.

It's taken days to scan and import (actually still has a few hours left finishing up), but moved my 800+ GB of digital comics onto my media server and imported them into Komga, which in conjuction with Tachiyomi on my phone now lets me access my collection from anywhere I've got internet.

Still have to use comicrack on my computer to scrape and set all the metadata, but with the reader program for mobile clearly on it's last legs (it hasn't worked on Apple for a few years now and Android can't be that far behind), nice to finally drag this stuff into the present day.
