X-Factor, Hulk, Aquaman, Young Justice, Spider-Man 2099, David was an all-time writer through decades. Able to adapt and evolve his style as times changed like few others have ever been able. So much of his work formed the foundation of new permanent status quos for characters. There's no Immortal Hulk without Peter David.
