Question about filing: My collection is mostly Marvel, which uses adjectives in its titles. So when I'm filing, I stick everything together by team or character so my collection would be organized like Spider-Man -> Spider-Man, Amazing -> Spider-Man, Spectacular, etc.

But DC doesn't really do adjectives for their comics, so I'm facing a struggle I've never dealt with. I have a lot of "Batman and the Outsiders" and "Batman and Robin" but also the series "Batman Eternal." Do I include the "and"? What about the "the"? Or do I treat them like Batman, Outsiders and Batman, Robin for the sake of alphabetizing?

At least in your specific example I would definitely use the "and" for sorting purposes because it would clearly keep the team books together.

My stuff is all just directly sorted by the title, but other than graphic novels all my stuff is digital so searching for specific series is easy through Komga.

I am generally pretty easy to please when it comes to comic books but Age of Revelation has been almost total ass.

That is a... very "adult" bundle.

If I didn't already own them, that bundle is 1000% worth it for Saga and Sunstone.

after getting randomly spoiled on a few post season 4 happenings, i decided to read the invincible comic. it was enjoyable, the back half was much more interesting than the first, will be interested to see how they adapt some stuff. i am so SO glad the comic didnt stick with
    Spoiler: show
the time travel fuckery, my god when that happened at like issue 134 i was beside myself, what a dumb bullshit swerve that would have been if he didn't get back lol

I rarely see a whole filler arc in a comic like that but I don't know how else to describe that entire storyline.

My assumption with that story is Hickman wanted the time jump for the final storyline but didn't want to actually flesh it all out so just came up with that nonsense

    Yall mean that
    Spoiler: show
glowing tentacle thing that took him to the past to redo all his mistakes and make them right? Cuz that's one of my favorite parts of the comic series. It really cements how he is not a hero even if he is trying to make right choices. He is such a perfect anti-hero. I hope they give that invincible war treatment and just make one solid episode about it.

In a vacuum it's a fine story but it has basically zero connection to the plot before or after. It is as Zealot said, a straight up filler story.

'filler' has gotten a bad rap as attention spans shorten and season lengths shorten and everyone is obsessed with plot plot plot like a 16 yo with an erection dancing at winter formal. some of the best media ever crafted was sidebar character studies exploring interesting themes, a la Stark Trek one-offs or Buffy's monster of the weeks or half of Sandman wandering into whatever the hell side-quest, like Salo thought it was fine and showed us more of Mark in a compelling way.

that said some of the Dinosaurus stuff et al had the death knell of being both meandering and not very interesting

Sure, it is definitely disconnected from any other arc and could definitely be considered filler, but thematically it served a purpose and really was
    Spoiler: show
the last chance for Mark to become a real hero and he decided to forgo that and all the lives he'd save for his daughter. Him throwing that away was big imo

I'm almost done bagging/boarding/organizing my collection and got through X-Factor yesterday. Has any other modern team lasted as long as they did without any roster changes? 70 straight issues plus Annuals of just the original 5 X-Men. I'm really trying to think and I'm pretty sure if you're not the Fantastic Four, that kind of roster consistency for that amount of time is a pipe dream.

In one of those moments that would have been unthinkable in the 90s, the Infernal Hulk just casually killed off Marrow. What a drastic fall off that character had compared to her heights.
