Clips get DMCAed as well, which is often a bigger problem since they can be saved by viewers, not just the streamer. No idea if separating audio tracks like that would help on clips taken during livestream.

I don't think it'll help much for gamers, since it doesn't help with music played via video game, unless you want your VOD to be completely missing all of the game audio and it just remain your commentary. This thing only helps with folks who want to play regular ol' music while doing something else, or at least until developers start giving players options to dump DMCA'able material onto a separate audio device (virtualized or otherwise).

It's something I was contemplating awhile back (streams that support multiple audio tracks) as a temp fix, but I was more mulling it over for reasons of being able to keep game audio and commentary separate, since some folks are annoying/loud. It does increase the bitrate requirement of the streamer though since you're increasing the number of audio channels needed.

Since no one's been arrested and both payment methods are working, that suggests to me there isn't explicit evidence or it's limited.

Facebook removed 12.4 million images related to child exploitation in a three-month period this year. Twitter closed 264,000 accounts in six months last year for engaging in sexual exploitation of children. By contrast, Pornhub notes that the Internet Watch Foundation, an England-based nonprofit that combats child sexual abuse imagery, reported only 118 instances of child sexual abuse imagery on its site over almost three years, seemingly a negligible figure. “Eliminating illegal content is an ongoing battle for every modern content platform, and we are committed to remaining at the forefront,” Pornhub said in its statement.

Counter point:
All of them are only removing CSAM after it's flagged.

The demand that's starting to be formed is that all content be reviewed by a human moderator and to remain inaccessible until all ages have been verified to stop the spread and distribution of CSAM.

Read the NYT article, his is an opinion piece on how the problem has been ignored for a ridiculously longtime. Mastercard is just investigating PH because well,
Someone has put Mastercard/Visa on notice that they believe PH is engaging in/covering up CSAM production for profit. Payment card issuers are liable if they investigate a business for enabling child abuse and then keep doing business with that entity after finding that their services are being/have been used to enable child abuse.

So now Mastercard/maybe Visa investigate. It sounds like PH is on the low end of things maybe. Given the charity PH does he might be appealing to the morals of people working there for some of that human moderation.

This is gonna come out wrong, but how are they supposed to validate everyones age though?
"Hey, if you want to upload this, you'll need to send this person's ID to us so we can confirm their age", with EVERY upload that doesnt have a famous porn star? And then whats next, PH needs to keep this information on file incase someone reports a video for having "underage girls", so they can prove that the girls are all of age. And then PH gets hacked and you have everyones ID out in the wild, a-la Parler.
