If you're asking for humanity to stop rushing towards the easiest conclusion, you're as foolish as they are. Humans are literally hard-wired to take mental shortcuts to conserve energy. Its in our genetics. The brain and body both are lazy by nature in order to conserve energy because we haven't evolved from our hunter/gatherer ancestors when everything was scarce and we needed every last drop of usable energy to last as long as humanly possible, no pun intended.

Pretty much this, story was terrible and felt lazy. But anyways, pretty much what Lucavi said felt right on the money, and also the other statement that social media creates wildfires than bonfires. Social media has given a voice to everyone and man people just jump on the bandwagon very quickly regardless if things are true or false. Accusations can still ruin someone’s life even if false, especially if it falls under social media, race doesn’t matter, it’s more against men, and women most of the time getting away scot free if it ends up being false.
