I didn't mention XI, and no. But unless you are extremely blatant with shit like POS hacking, you'll never get banned for windower. the devs use it too. they forgot to turn it off for stream once.

They did a big thing awhile back but for awhile now they usually do a small one during monthly maintenance showing the new stuff off and doing an ambuscade. Best one imo was where they were going into content they knew they would need more acc for and Fujito who is usually their tank/melee DD ate a mithkabob and the rest of the devs were like why would you do that why didn't you use sushi. And he said something like I like how it tastes better

There was a wave a couple years ago, where me and everyone I knew still playing got a 3 day ban, probably for speed hacking. I was only using it move around empty zones (it auto-disabled when another player was in the area), so I'm guessing they used those old automated flags for that one.

A lot of people botting job points/sparks also got a ban at one point, I think during late SoA/escha era. Afaik there hasn't been any big ban waves since those, thou I havn't played since omen was current.
