So glad they moved the playoffs to Sunday, it's a great use of a lazy afternoon.

NY with the reverse sweep on Philly to take Stage 2.
Two really good series to close out stage 2.
..even though London lost..
Non-Koreans almost won. Not bad.
Amazing games. Can't wait for stage 3!
https://compete.kotaku.com/overwatch...lay-1824190024Roster Change: Today Shanghai Dragons announce the release of Fang ‘Undead’ Chao, with the approval of OWL office
Yeah word going around (from the girls themselves on weibo) he cheated on 3 girls and got at least 2 of them pregnant, didn't pay child support, forced them to have abortions etc. Basically super scum abusing his status as a skilled gamer to get into girls' panties >_>;
Meanwhile Valiant has started the In-n-out meme by shooting a "reality" video of a really ill-conceived "heart to heart" between the GM and dps player Agilities. GM took him to the parking lot of an In-n-out and told him he needs to show up in next game or get benched...really embarrassing shit but it's spawned some god-tier memeing lol
Yeah that was embarrassing as hell. No need to drag a kid out back into the woodshed publically.
Was curious, so did a quick google search.. and no Brigitte till stage 4. Sadness

That sucks. Wanted to see some Tracers get popped.
Stage 3 starts tomorrow, rosters are locked for the rest of the season now (can see the latest changes here: https://overwatchleague.com/en-us/ne...7/deadline-day) and another new format for the stage playoffs:
https://www.heroesneverdie.com/2018/...at-stage-threethe top seeded team at the end of the stage will no longer receive a bye into the Finals match, instead, they will have their choice of any of the other three playoff teams to face in the first round.
Someone on /r/competitiveoverwatch made a post about all the drops/signings/transfers that's a bit more digestible: https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitive...ayer_signings/
EQO fined 2k, suspended him three games, and he's not allowed to stream till June 17th.

Eventually we'll live in our utopia where every thought and action that offends nobody is thoroughly policed. God Allah Zeus Non-Distinct-Inclusive-Deity Bless America, and the world.
On a serious note, I'm actually worried this kind of thing will kill the OWL the most, its not going to take long before most of their popular personalities realize its more profitable and free to be streaming rather than joining the OWL with how much of a lens it puts you under and how many extremely strict restrictions you have to follow. I can understand the fines and such, but they took away his ability to stream for 2 months, and thats a huge amount of money going bye bye. Most of the big names make more money streaming than in the OWL anyway, though of course the OWL is more stable.
So what did he do?
EDIT: Nevermind just saw. Still having a hard time believing that was something that could get him penalized.
MLB did the same thing to Yuli Gurriel of the Astros when he did slanty eye face and got caught on TV. But he got off easy and didn't get a suspension for the World Series but instead got a 5 game suspension + forfeit salary at the start of the 2018 season. So it isn't unprecedented if OWL wants to protect its image.
So much for Shanghai winning their first match..
In Shanghai's defense, even if they weren't having trouble communicating, those first day on stage nerves get EVERYONE. I'll be looking forward more to their 2nd match, when they're not fresh meat so to speak. Their backline does look pretty weak but it could just be communication issues. Plus, Ado is a hard carry on Genji.
Here we go, Blackwatch announcement!
Fucking lol EQO, stupid kids
