i'm more for the 'closer to' than necessarily above, but Gilligan and co. just continued to hone their craft by late-BCS. they were helped that they found the best Salamanca, and despite being constrained how it could play out with Gus (or any scene with Mike), it was still excellent throughout. Slippin' Jimmy and Slippin' Kimmy was heartbreaking and compelling. i also felt Nacho's story far eclipses any tertiary-ish character from BrBa, even though he was ultimately meat grinder churn for the cartel feud

The no amazon shows is crazy considering The Boys exists. Agree on Expanse and would also add Shameless (unless I missed it) to the list considering it was as solid for as many seasons as many of the things on this list.

it's an interesting question, how to properly rate something like Game of Thrones whose early/mid highs were so high but whose ending was so bad

I don't understand their criteria since they put GoT at 6 and Dexter is all the way down at 88 despite both having bad endings.

I can definitely see why and respect that Lost is so high, but at the same time it being that high and Community barely making it in makes me want to punch walls.

Dexter is fun before it becomes unwatchable but its peak is nowhere fuckin close to Game's peak

I'm surprised Archer isn't on there. First five seasons were absolutely amazing. Coma seasons were a bit of a drop off, but damn the finale nearly left me in tears just due to the goodbye to Jessica Walter and how they were able to recycle recorded lines to say goodbye to her and her husband who also voiced Ron Cadillac
