I used to live by Sandwich, Il, but I don't think those were what their cop cars looked like.
You know, if you also told me you worked at the 3M dc then, it still wouldn’t beat the greatest ff11 related coincidence I ever had (when I found out a coworker at an earlier job not only played 11, but had done so on the same server.
Picture for the picture thread and just one of the things I deal with at my new job.Spoiler: show

I've worked in Sandwich for 15 years. The coincidences are piling up! It's all SUV cruisers now though.

I read that a little bit too quickly and saw "porn superstar Shakira" for a moment and was greatly confused.
Then what do you think of these. Asbestos insulated steam lines, directly overhead of the main aisleway in my dept.

I think that if you or a loved one have been diagnosed with mesothelioma, you may have important legal rights subject to time limits.

Nooooo get out of there! Those fibers are fraying everywhere! Any white powder-like substance falling off is future mesothelioma for you. Gtfooo
I'm not exaggerating when I say I've analyzed insulation that looks similar that was over 50% chrysotile, and once I had one that was over 90%. That shit will ruin your life, and the worst part is you won't know it did for a couple decades until your Dr says the reason you've felt like this is cause you have mesothelioma. It could potentially be a fat lawsuit, I can't believe it's that bad and nobody's done anything about it. If they know what it is but left it there, they might try and get by saying it's in a safe spot but that fraying I see on the ends of the insulation say otherwise.
Now imagine finding that shit in an elementary school. Florida sure is, and it's never made into as big a deal as I think it should be.

I just moved into that area of the mill. Before that, it was pointed out to management, and nothing was ever done. There was one instance where some fell onto the ground, and a few people refused to go around it, and… no lie, the mill manager walked over with a trash bag and picked it up with his bare hand. His point of view was “it’s like a passive snake in the corner. So long as you stay away from it, it won’t hurt you.” They finally removed 70% of it in the area, but only after I pointed it out to a divisional safety officer.
I'd at least talk to a lawyer, that shit really is no joke
