Lucilius is out. I don't think I'll be able to attempt the fight this week, but I'll be interested to see what people say about it :D

Also, they fixed Rackam's online Blast bug, which is great, but also fixed his aerial barrage - I never used that technique, but I bet people will be sad, lol

Unfortunately, the game is effectively dead unless you use discord groups or set Steam to JP and play their prime time. Spent half an hour trying to do a quick quest or Lucio and nadda; twitch had about 1.2k viewers.

No, but gearing one character takes less time than 1 + 3 AI and four people will crush a mission much faster than the AI can. It's just a much different experience and more enjoyable for my part. I'm pretty sure PS5 will be better long run since everyone, anywhere, can match but PC is kinda dead now.

Lucilius was fun but the fight did exasperate some of the issues I have with the game. Targeting in general is still a bit booty and the camera zooming in and out during certain sections of the fight were slightly tilting. My friend had issues with the general clarity of the fight due to so much shit going on. Not being able to make the damage numbers appear smaller or to turn them off outright was also an issue he had though that honestly doesn't bother me. The 3 new sigils are pretty unique but you essentially need to farm the shit out of that fight to get them AND uncap them. At least 5 clears per sigil, don't know how many tears are needed to uncap them but they go up to lvl 30 as opposed to lvl 15 like the other sigils in the game.

Damage cap just got 4 times more annoying I guess lol

Guess I can just pretend those sigils don't exist..but the game is moving in a weird direction where they've added more sigils but there's now less options.

Tear not being a 100% drop is some shit.

Also, the PC connection thing is known by Cygames, but I haven't heard it's been fixed. Couple that with the sigils pushing towards all DPS and no defense, and that tears are not guaranteed, I may just skip this all-together.

I don't see the point anyway besides killing the same guy faster. I'll check in again when there's been a few updates and more than this to do.

That's the nature of games like this. All the rewards after the first clear is just to do the fights faster or to gear up to make the next new fight easier to complete. Unless you like doing the fights in general or doing them with a different character to spice it up, no real point to farming them.

the point of the best gear in games like this is so you can go online and trivialize fights for newbies so you can recieve (likely imagined) accolades from people who are likely (in your own mind anyways) saying things such as “man, they’re so awesome, I wish I was as cool as them”

This phenomenon also happens when you afk in a main hub in an mmo wearing full raid gear.

This was announced during Nintendo Direct, but will be coming to all previous platforms too. Hope that's in a form of some DLC and not a completely separate copy. Also, on one hand I'm very excited because I enjoyed Relink immensly, but I'm not sure how returning after such a long time will feel.

Edit: there's going to be a showcase to announce more details:

Hopefully more content for this game? Hell yeah. I just hope it justifies that price tag. I just assumed this game was dead forever at this point.

Is $30 really that steep? Seems like chump change.

So this update will enable crossplay between all the platforms, 4(?) Characters: Beatrix, Eustace, Magielle, Gallenza; Lyria is able to use her summons to help fight; new solo mode that seems like a boss rush, Beezlebub boss fight, The World boss fight (I think I saw a hint of his model), more ways to get stronger, and for some reason, the roulette wheel they use for the Anniversary & Christmas in the gacha game to get free shit has shown up.

I mean for $30 we got both Witcher DLCs. For that much money I would expect a high content volume

Hearts of Stone/Blood and Wine was a decade ago.

And using them as the default benchmark of what to expect from a season pass/DLC is a fools errand

Well, maybe I shouldn't judge before we see the specifics, I just hope it provides enough varied content for a decent amount of hours, not just a fight or two to grind over and over. New characters are cool, but even in the base game it was kinda hard to switch once you got used to a specific chara and lineup. Plus, all the grinding when you actually wanted to pick up a new team, haha. Pretty sure I'll buy it anyway, just because I still enjoyed it a lot and want to show them support.

Known for its dynamic combat, ensemble of versatile characters, and thrilling online cooperative play, Relink returns with expanded solo and multiplayer content, bringing endless adventure to skyfarers both new and old.

    Major Additions in Endless Ragnarok

From new stories to game modes, Relink has been refined and revamped for the ultimate action RPG experience.
    • Embark on New Adventures – Although the Astral Lilith’s machinations lay thwarted, winds of change begin to stir within the Zegagrande Skydom… Strange beings called the “ragnalia” herald the end times. Mysterious gateways beckon would-be challengers into a realm of chaos. And even the mighty Beelzebub, with his wings of steel, descends upon Zegagrande.
    • Call in the Big Guns – During their journey, players will unlock the ability to equip and call forth summons, adding a new dimension to battle strategy. Once channeled by Lyria, some summons can be temporarily controlled by the player; but if certain conditions are met, others will make a spectacular entrance alongside a new type of chain burst—the “primal burst.”
    • More to Master, More to Play
      • New cooperative quest tiers and additional bosses.
      • The Conflux, an all-new solo mode where unpredictable challenges and enigmatic powers lurk within its depths.
      • The introduction of master traits to push characters beyond their limits.
      • Summons to expand on tactical options.
      • All of these features—and more—ensure that even after the credits roll, Relink‘s skies remain vast!
    • Play Across Boundaries – Relink‘s thrilling four-player online cooperative combat reaches new heights with cross-play across all platforms!

    Upgrade Kit

The Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok Upgrade Kit ($29.99) can be used to upgrade your copy of Granblue Fantasy: Relink on the same platform.

It doesn't need to be 50+ hours like those 2 but I would expect 20-30 hrs content minimum for $30. If it doesn't reach that then I wait for it on sale
