To be fair, Chandler also has his moments of potato level fight IQ.

The fight could be in an hour and Conor would find a way to smack a chick or get in a bar fight causing the whole thing to be shut down. So if the fight is in December, that's 5 months of hoping he doesn't do anything stupid.

ok. so. I actually read through the testing-paragraphs in the UFC-anti-doping-policy

The article in question everyone is talking about is 5.7.3, which states the 6 month rule.

    5.7.3
5.7.3. An Athlete who gives notice of retirement to UFC, or has otherwise ceased
to have a contractual relationship with UFC due to Athlete-Initiated
Inactivity, may not resume competing in UFC Bouts until he/she has given
UFC written notice of his/her intent to resume competing and has made
him/herself available for Testing for a period of six months before returning
to competition. UFC may grant an exemption to the six-month written
notice rule in exceptional circumstances or where the strict application of
that rule would be manifestly unfair to an Athlete provided that in either
instance the Athlete provides a minimum of two negative Samples before
    returning to competition.
I doubt conor has ever given notice of retirement to UFC in writing (twitter doesnt count), so he would be included under 5.7.2 which only requires 1 month
5.7.2. An Athlete who ceases to have a contractual relationship with UFC due to
UFC-Initiated Inactivity, may not resume competing in UFC Bouts until
he/she has entered into a new Promotional Agreement with UFC and has
made him/herself available for Testing for a period of one month before
returning to competition. Where the conditions set forth in Article 5.7.6
below are satisfied, the foregoing rule shall not prevent a returning UFC
Athlete from participating in a Bout less than one
    Then I found this duesy:
    5.7.6.
The one-month notice period requirement for an Athlete subject to Articles
5.7.1 and 5.7.2 shall be waived automatically where he/she is named to a
Fight Card as a replacement for an Athlete who was withdrawn from the
Fight Card due to loss of eligibility, injury or other event not reasonably
    foreseeable to UFC.
    TLDR;

if you are a replacement fighter, you dont have to be tested

leaked that Ngannou is gettin 8 millionish for the Fury fight, made 3.3 million in his 14 fight UFC career. all time bag non-fumble.

i feel like Francis and i have a lot in common because i too would let Tyson Fury jab me to death for $8 million

Ngannou being only a +600 underdog seems pretty damn generous. Figured it’d at least be over 1000.

I'd assume that's entirely for idiots thinking his power gives him a chance at a flash knockout, completely ignoring that Wilder couldn't do it and is an actual experienced boxer.

i mean Conor wound up +300 against Floyd and reckon Francis has a better shot than Con did. nothing like a good one but heavyweight is the lowest-skill division with the most power, upset friendly by nature.

that said Fury is the most defensively sound of them and the only one that outsizes Francis and has freakish cardio for his size, it's literally the worst matchup. him against Wilder would've been funner but $$$$

Like I said, idiots. I remember watching Conor/Floyd with a bunch of people who had zero understanding of boxing and assumed he would win because he's Conor and clearly the greatest fighter to ever live.

Myself and the other guy there that night who have actually watched boxing before made some good money that night.

I’ll forgive it this time though with Fulton using Nakamura’s entrance theme.

Spence is maybe my favorite boxer rn so hard to be unbiased but i like him wearing down Crawford with pressure and body work and booking enough early and late rounds to take it. def gonna get blown up with some hard counters tho gotta hope the chin holds up.
