You'd like to think this would be a wake-up call that UFC should go back to focusing more on the sport and less on the spectacle.
But we all know we'll see clips of this brawl used in promos for the inevitable rematch that Conor doesn't deserve.

Nah Tony's waited far too long and gone through too many people, fuck that rematch.
Well I had hoped the loss would lower Conor’s stock enough that maybe he might lose his hold on Dana. But I dunno, the postfight shenanigans might make another “too much money to pass up” fight?
I wondered how well Khabib would do against Tony, but after yesterday zero doubt in my mind Khabib will toast him, though not as easily as Conor.
Just saw Matt Hughes talk for the first time after his accident, man is that fucking heart breaking![]()
I found this amusing: https://www.bloodyelbow.com/2018/10/...first-mma-news
Looks like NSAC was made aware that Conor punched first, and he’ll be punished as well.
Rumours saying around 2.5mill PPV buys which would put it 3rd all time - behind May/Pac and May/Mcgregor.
So if you wanna know why Khabib won't get stripped then yeeeeah.
Fuck Tony Ferguson if they can book the rematch amirite.
Cormier vs Lewis confirmed main event for MSG.
Shevchenko moved back to Toronto card to fight Joanna.
I think DC’s plan was always to fight twice more; once in the fall then Brock in the spring. So that fight still coming.
Brock probably said fuck it after the Saudis gave him 7 figures to show up at the Crowned Jewel PPV for wwe.
Lewis > Brock > JJ 3 > retirement, fighting Stipe again doesn't make anywhere near as much money ( unfortunately for him ).
How the fuck is Lewis fighting again so fast?
With all the associated media shit he's barely gonna get like 3 weeks of camp.
per Dana Khabib will keep title, will get suspended for maybe 4-6 months. NSAC might keep his whole fight purse but Dana can't do anything about that.
p crazy yeah especially since he hardly got out of that fight unscathed, was badly hurt multiple times and seemed to have an eye/orbital problem. easy win for Cormier either way Lewis can't handle a regular pace nonetheless Cormier's grind.
From the videos I’ve seen, here’s what I was able to piece together:
1. Khabib jumps fence to attack Dillon.
2. Various people follow Khabib to diffuse the situation, including Conor and members of Khabib’s team.
3. People hold down Conor so he’s not able to get completely over the fence.
4. Conor takes the first swing at Khabib’s team member who’s also on the fence. Said team member then hits back.
5. Everyone is dragged away from the fence, including Khabib’s team members and Conor.
6. Conor and a different member of Khabib’s team are in each other’s faces.
7. Conor takes first swing at that team member.
So from the angles I’ve seen, Khabib definitely started the whole mess of course, but in specifically the scuffles that Conor was involved in, he punched first both times. Conor was not suckerpunched.
Here’s the angle for #6 and 7: https://www.scrapdigest.com/watch-ne...punched-first/
man i've seen bigger scuffles at applebees. who cares about this shit
That was after Conor punched another guy first. Here’s another angle: https://youtu.be/pOeggxmapNI
