The fact that Wilder isn't really that technically impressive have always made it more entertaining to me.

He, his opponent, and everyone else in the building knows he's just looking to land some wild haymaker. But so far no one has been able to do anything about it.

His footwork and body movement are Ronda Rousey esque.
He might lose a shadow boxing contest to Chuck Liddel.

He leans back and then moves the wrong foot p much everytime but gets away with it because of his size.

I don't think the time off will have hurt Fury anywhere near anyone thinks, and he's the tallest, longest ranged ( bigger range than Wilder ), and heaviest non joke fighter he's fought.

Even a half brain Fury should smack the shit out of Wilder.

lawlz come on man his footwork is rough and he's got plenty of other issues but fuck out of here with the Rousey and Liddell comparisons. he's an Olympic bronze medalist and has an absolute peach of a right cross, thrown with terrific power-generating mechanics and he can end dudes with it coming forward or on the counter.



look at the 5:10-5:20 sequence, he fades away from Ortiz's jabs hiding behind his lead shoulder, waits for Ortiz to overextend trying to reach with the left straight, and blasts him with the cross counter. it's pure class and led to the beginning of the end for Ortiz. Deontay gets incredibly spazzy when he gets dudes hurt but he boxes to get there.

Agreed. The Rousey/Liddell comparisons are ridiculous. His footwork is not the best, but all questions about it being “exposed” were answered in the first Stiverne fight.
