great fight, bad decision. had Fury 8-4 or 9-3 which even with the knockdowns gave him a couple point cushion. still, would love to see these guys rematch so not bawling as long as Tyson gets another shot.

it's funny, I thought Fury's adaptability would give him the big advantage but it was Wilder who made the bigger adjustment late starting to aim his right hand downwards to where Fury's dipping head was going to be rather than swinging futilely at where it was as he did for the first 9 rounds. and just a ton of fucking credit to Fury for not only getting up in the 12th but hurting Deontay late with that combination to get him off him.

Havn't watched the full fight yet, but one of boxings issues ( and to Danas Whites credit he fixed it in the ufc ) is that the fighters management teams get to pick the judges. It's not a neutral panel from the SAC so if they want to keep getting paid to be picked to judge then they need to deliver for their employee or sit on the sidelines holding their dicks.

lawlz yeah it was quite the contrast, but Max at least does some pretty neat stuff. the way he slides off-line into a stance switch and follows up from the the new angle mid-combo is class. Tyson used to do it back in the day and it's how Mosley killed Margarito.
