i dunno how you give it to Whittaker, he got buried in round 5, dropped hard, nearly stopped, landed nothing of significance. draw is fair, round 4 was razor close. Whittaker clearly didn't hurt Romero as much as Romero hurt him but he was more consistent and did solid damage. always favored damage over volume tho so had Romero 3-4-5 with 5 a 10-8.

regardless tho really wanna see them run it back for a trilogy. Yoel's weight cutting might ruin that but both fights have been great, last night was an all time classic.

Yeah. And he’s been pretty vocal about his displeasure with USADA. Given his history I never paid too much attention so I have no idea how much merit his complaints have, but yeah. On the one hand sucks that he won’t be fighting the top guys, on the other hand yeah will probably see him fight more. Ah well.

yehhh i still love the sport but so many fights fall through and the UFC has ruined a lot of the divisions at the top with interim champs and unearned title shots and an obsession with super fights.

kinda funny, it isn't nearly as bad as boxing is with the WBO WBA IBA WBC and Ring but UFC made a lot of the same mistakes in going for the short-term money with their belts and so diluting and confusing what they mean
