Based on what Whis was saying, it looks like we are in for another set of levels for UI similar to Super Saiyan, so at this point what is the point of having the Z fighters when they can't get power up boosts. At a minimum why can't Gohan learn SSB or Piccolo have some major power up so that there isn't this huge gap in power.

With that being said, I can tell where this is going...Granola will want to kill Freeza, Goku will step in and try to power of friendship him and Granola will fight Goku because he's "in the way". Also Beerus's comment to Vegeta seems like he's try to temp him back to the dark side to do/take whatever he wants.

I feel more like new guy is gonna kill Golden Freeza, and become the most powerful or almost the most powerful in the process. Then Goku is gonna be like hey wanna spar? But the dude ain't gonna have that and will want to legit kill goku and def Vegeta. How the angels and GoDs intertwine with this idk, they'll prob just stay out of the way cause really, why does it matter when Dragonballs can wish their favorite planet back anyways lol

Maybe dude kills Goku and Vegeta, and Uub has to make an appearance again. Or something along those lines.

There’s realistically no one else other than maybe Future Trunks who’s even believable at the moment outside of Goku/Vegeta.

Gohan will forever be cuck status and we learned in the ToP Piccolo could probably absorb all of the remaining Namekians in his universe and it would hardly make a difference.

Either way the last arc has shown us how creatively bankrupted the franchise is at the moment.

Feel like they're setting up Goku and Vegeta to take over as angel and GoD of a universe at the end of super as a series, maybe setup a future for Dragonball without them

Well, I mean... it's hard to go there because we technically know exactly how they end up after the events of Super, since the canon end of Z has that epilogue mini-arc that shows them at the 28th tenkaichi after all the events of Super are supposed to have already happened. They're just portrayed as chummy denizens of Earth by then.



But they take enormous license retconning all of Super in there. E.g. Uub was supposed to be born in 774, having reincarnated right after Buu dies. Super kicks off with the Battle of Gods stuff 4 years after that in 778, and it's sometime in 780 when we get to Moro and lil tribal Uub saving the day at age 6 unbeknownst to everyone but Fat Kai. Uub is supposed to be 10 in 784 when he fights Goku in the 28th tourney in the Z epilogue, so we're working within 4 more years housing the remainder of potential Super events. It's pretty silly what they're asking us to assume Goku & Geets were capable of in that glimpse we saw of 784 in Z, considering we're still power creeping past ultra instinct at this point in Super. The retcon gets deeper and deeper as Super goes on.

I think the vagueness is the whole point. "Strongest" and "greatest... in the universe" are subjective and flimsy enough that Toriyama can avoid writing himself into a corner (e.g. Dead Zone). Strongest versus whom? Beerus and Whis are "in the universe". Two measly balls - what is within this dragon's capabilities? The chapter ends before it even grants the wish.
