It just added team exploitation to the strat, it backfired. But it was only exciting in the end with Lando defending and Max pitting in the last lap.

The Indy 500 tho was awesome, always fun to watch, and good on Palou to finally win it. Rossi’s race getting screwed by the car igniting in a fireball was crazy to see.

Max fishing for a red flag at the end made it more interesting, which is more than can be said about the average Monaco race which is usually decided from the moment qualifying ends.

F1 is almost 75 years old. For 30 plus, maybe 40 years, people have been claiming "nothing" happens. It is what it is. Personally, I worry that any changes would be at a deficit to how absolutely breakneck and full of shock exits the qualis always are.

Eh, quali wasn't touched this year and was a banger as almost always. Race was marginally better than usual, and honestly only because of the forced pit stop nonsense. It somewhat achieved what it was supposed to do.

Oscar put together an incredible lap in quali, it will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow as him and Lando fight over t1 on that very long straight with Max right behind. This is the start where Russell went from p4 to p1 on the first corner last year (he is p4 again).

If I were a steward he would have gotten a dsq too. Crashing into people on purpose is unforgivable.

LeClerc got a penalty just for admitting he bumped max to avoid the dirt so I just can't see how Max can get off lighter than him lol.
