Well this weekend was wild.

Practice 1 basically didn’t happen.
Ferrari looks good through fp2.
McLaren looks like 2020 McLaren.
Six red flags in quali.
Carlos almost runs away with pole.
Max does Max things.
Piastri crashes out on turn 2.
DRS trains make overtakes impossible so there are essentially no overtakes outside of pitting.
Mercedes has a great day.
Williams get a podium from Carlos before Ferrari gets a podium from LH. Ferrari’s most recent win, also from Carlos.
Max does Max things.

Glad Carlos podiumed because I like him and I feel like he's been really struggling to get his feet under him at Williams.

I am so desperately hoping McLaren making Oscar give that spot back to Lando comes back to haunt them at the end of the season, and him wrecking today was a big step towards that outcome lol.

No DNFs required now for Max to win I think. I don't really understand the sprint points but I think essentially Max > Lando > Oscar podiums for the remainder of the season would have Max winning by single digit points.

Likely? No. But you bet your ass it's what I'm hoping for lol.

Yup, max needs to win every race and Oscar needs to get a couple of p3 and max can still win it. Long shot but at this point no one ever counts out Max

My boy gets a star for his tie every hundred dojos. Bronze for the first, silver for the second and gold for 300. Homie is already at 150 and we're only at half term. Head teacher's getting nervous because nobody has ever hit 400 before.

Each student here belongs to a class and a house. Points they earn go towards their class and houses. Points get tallied up for rewards like uniform free days etc. They fucking love that shit.
