Oh that's happened before. Ferrari and maybe alpine has this before iirc. IDK why this time when they had 3 practice sessions...but that's on Zac for making it easier for Lando to win the championship.

At this point if/when Lando (or Oscar for that matter) wins, it will be in spite of McLaren and not because of them. They delivered a good car, that is for sure, but between team orders, this thing, bad strategy calls, and an engine failure, there’s more points against the team than on the drivers’ mistakes.
If Lando's engine hadn't blown up at the Dutch GP he would have won the WDC last night and then un-won it this morning. lmao.
Edit: Max is also tied with Oscar now, and 24 points back from Lando.
maybe just 1 more bed to shit to make this driver championship the funniest Max title ever
In the worst kept secret in the IndyCar paddock, Mick Schumacher to race for RLL Racing in 2026.
I'm disappointed with myself for waking up early to watch that sprint, that was awful and I don't know why I expected any different from this track.
I wonder which track is harder to pass on, Monaco or Qatar.
I don't watch sprints live anymore. Even when they end up fun, the odds are always stacked against them when drivers are usually too scared to make moves cause quali is right after. After first lap shenanigans it's usually a snooze fest unless there's a drastic difference in car performance making an overtake easy in the back of the pack.

Brazil's sprint was pretty good (as was the race).
I don't like sprints at all, but I'm a bigger fan of sprint position being race qualifying.
OF COURSE McLaren botches the safety car call. How do you not at the least pit one of the cars wth

Wowww Lando saves his first pit stop by coming out less than a second ahead of the DRS train. I'll eat my words if McLaren can keep this a 1-2 after keeping them out for the safety car

Gotta hand it to McLaren, their commitment to screwing both drivers equally is admirable.
Merc just giving 4th to Lando, lol. I don't want to hear shit about the Ricardo fastest lap ever again. Those were 2 big points he got for free.
Antonelli went wide on a turn

I saw the replay much later. Unfortunate because he was doing a great job defending up until that point.
Max is now out-points-ing Ferrari as a team this year, lol.
