The FIA rescinded Gasly's penalties in Monaco, moving him to 3rd. Any driver that served their speeding penalty can't appeal it, which means every team is just going to ignore penalties during the race going forward so they can have a chance to appeal them later. RB and McLaren have already filed appeals of the Gasly decision.

Yeah that's bullshit and George must be extra salty cause he wanted to do exactly what gasly did and just argue the penalty after the race.

Honestly if you don't need to pit stop you might as well fight it after the race going forward. Strategically makes way more sense, and it low-key ruined George's race.

F1 Silly season continues.

The Bahrain GP will be hosted by Malaysia at the Sepang Internation Circuit. In the middle of monsoon season the week before Singapore. For an afternoon race. Either ice baths will be prepared for everyone or the race will get washed out.

And Domenicali says the F1 season will end in Europe if the US/Iran War continues. So November 29 race in the snow somewhere in Europe. Most likely Portimao would be the only possible place.

After appeal, Gasly's Monaco penalty reversal got reinstated. 89 days after the race, Hadjar earns his first podium.

Hilarious but also IMO the right result. They can't reward people for declining to serve their penalties. Sucks for Gasly though.
