Ffs Checo needs to step up, a lot of Ham’s victories were due to Bottas defending 2nd place. Max all by himself with no wingman to hold back the overtake.

When they first did it, I mathed it out and they had just enough pace to fight for first on the second to last lap. But Hamilton is so fucking fast that he did it almost 10 10 laps early. I hate their dominance but gdi they're so good not just in the driver's seat but in the management too.

And like, I had 4 screens going. Two on driver cameras for action, one on ESPN for the main commentary, and one on the intervals and tire info. I kept my eye on the rear on the race hoping they would slow ham but all they did was slow verstappen while ham blew past them; the new tires really helped him out on overtaking while verstappen was trying to baby his, which he did do well.

Perez really disappointed tho. Riccardo shouldn't have held him up for as long as he did, even tho McLaren was weaving all over the track trying to prevent overtakes. Honestly they should probably have a chat with him cause Stroll started doing it too at the end and almost crashed into Gasly I think it was? Can't recall, but he was close to wrecking someone at the end near the starting line.

Ironically I was gonna bet that two safety cars would be used. Glad I didn't, but Stroll trying to help people out I respect it lol

I follow some of IMSA and other endurance racing. Bummed that this year's Bathurst 12 hours got cancelled. And Le Mans got bumped to August instead of the usual June slot. No idea how the LMH class will fare in terms of reliability.

Le Mans getting pushed back sucks, but I don't even get why Bathurst was cancelled. Straya got the covid super checked. They could have set a super strict one month quarantine.

I don't think anyone wanted to 1 month quarantine into Australia. All the Tennis people were already pissed off about the 2 week quarantine for the Australia Open because no one could work out/practice. Also had 24 Hours of Daytona + 12 Hours of Sebring sandwiched between the usual Bathurst date that people like Albuquerque and Kobayashi wouldn't have been able to travel for the quick turnarounds.

Well, if they were going to double up somewhere, I'm cool with it being there. Wonder if they'll have different compounds this time. I believe they used the same for both races last year.

I'm fine with it. Prefer Austria to Turkey anyway.
