I feel for him tho, he did everything right. He even said he nursed his soft tyres so he could stay out a little longer, and they fucked up the strat by making him pit early. He's been driving slow and they turned around and used the exact opposite pit strategy for the situation.

I see it as a part of his man management strategy. At his level he has got to keep the garage on their toes. It takes 3-4 secs of poor pit performance to lose a season worth of effort.
