What a race. Rain = great watch.
The cars legit ran out of fuel lol.
Bottas and Stroll both got 5 place grid penalties for the demolition derby
That race was so exciting, all around. So bittersweet knowing there's a month break now with Hamilton barely in the lead.

Uh, yeah. So about those cars that just got parked on the track. It's not the first time I've seen that happen (and I think Checo did earlier this season?) but I didn't know they needed a certain minimum. Russell also didn't make it back. Ocon left his car out there, but he missed the pit entrance, so he might have just parked it rather than it being a fuel issue.

Vettel DQ
Ffs hamilton gets lucky points.
Well Max gets another point as well, so net gain of 2 for Ham
True, he just ends up with more. Hope the championship is kept alive after the break, if rbr keeps getting bad luck tho, this shit is as good as dead.

Binotto believes teams guilty of a crash should be paid for by the team at fault.
I know this was a total accident, but this shit shouldn’t be affecting cost caps due to spare parts. Watch the grid penalties be more severe for the drivers who got their engines killed by Bottas/Stroll.
That would never work with the poorer teams being around.
I want to complain about money in f1, but I like stroll. I do wish caps made people like mazespin lose interest, but if anything it just means it's cheaper to stay in the sport longer tbh.

Right now what really sucks is the fact that the technical regulations are now a talking point of controversy. The rules will be giving Checo and possibly Max a 10 grid spot penalty due to engine change. I am not sure if Norris and Leclerc are also affected by this as i saw no confirmation if they need to engine change as well. But that 5 place grid spot penalty both Bottas and Stroll got got doesn’t seem that bad anymore. Norris seemed really pissed in an interview and indirectly telling Bottas he needs to learn to drive in the pack was pretty funny tho.
Yeahhhh, penalties need a rework cause red bull taking such hard hits to their cap two races in a row, on top of grid penalties, while Mercedes is just out the driver they aren't really showing love towards anyways is straight bullshit.

We keep giving Buttass shit, but despite all that, he's still 4th and still above Perez.
Checo does for Max what Valtteri does for Lewis. How well he does it, is up for debate, but one this is absolutely certain, he might be there to race, but he knows his place. He wants points, but he absolutely does not jeopardize team strat to do it. Last thing Merc wants with another driver is Webber v Vetter/Hamilton v Rosberg/Verstappen v Riccardo.
