Just finished this. For about 92 minutes, I was thinking the worst thing about it was having to listen to PDR for 100 minutes. Seeing that first wobble from Lando after Lewis went in for inters, I just said "oh no". Then Mazepin having to drive gingerly around him because Lando had no grip was not something I expected today. Gutted for Lando, but also glad that the 100th is finally done with. With those overcast conditions at the start, I fully expected the F1 trope of threat of rain/arrives just after the race ends.

I'm gutted for Lando. It was him and his team that fucked that up. What answer did they expect by asking tepidly what he thinks of switching tires? It should've been a box order.

Today is a No Good Very Bad Day for McLaren. Pato O'ward got punted and broke his driveshaft in Long Beach and lost a chance at an IndyCar championship.

Perez would have done marginally better if not for the rain. He could have done better but he wasn't terrible today like he has been lately.

Bottas just took off like a rocket at the end. I know that he was in the pit at the same time as Russell and Kimi, but I don't know what kind of gaps there may have been when they exited.
