Bad call from merc, they had a good pit but the call to the pit was bad.

Ocon finished the race without ever changing tires (which Lewis was also trying to do until they convinced him otherwise).

If anything Lewis needed to undercut bottas's pit to get the tires good again, but they pitted so late that he didn't have time to break the tires in. There was a sweet spot window in there that red bull hit and Mercedes just fucked up entirely

I believe Charles was asking what position would he end up at if he keeps the same pace when he asked, considering he didn’t pit, he asked that. But galaxy brain Ferrari said that he’ll stay P1 if he’s ahead of P2.

Ferrari pit crew just didn't understand the question. It went right over their heads and thought Leclerc was asking what place will he finish if his position doesn't change, which clearly isn't what he was asking lol.
