3 place penalty for Bottas. 5 place for Verstappen. Grid start is Ham, Gas, Alo, Nor. I love Alonso and Norris so much but Gasly is definitely my face of them. I really fucking want Gasly podium so fucking bad, but you KNOW redbull is going to tell him to move over if Verstappen manages to get behind him.

I've never REALLY supported teams, though I grew up in a Williams house. I did have a soft spot for that team until Claire left, but I can't say I really supported them. I'm more of a "the sport" and "the drivers" fan. So I have quite a few drivers I really fucking like (though none of them are on the same teams). Gasly was #2 on my list.
Watching Red Bull bitch Gasly/AT for the sake of RB and Verstappen has left a really bad taste in my mouth. Max complains about traffic, not long after Gasly fails to use DRS and goes wide. He pretty much does the same for Perez. I'm fine with team orders, cross team orders though is absolutely bitchmade. I've gone from being indifferent to Red Bull to actively disliking the team and honestly, I've lost respect for Gasly for doing that shit.

Range wasn't the issue with the tires though. Those curbs were chewing them up.

Benefit of the doubt. Gasly was on softs. Why chew through tires defending Verstappen? Their race is/was against Alpine for 5th in constructors. AT has nothing to gain by impeding for an extended amount of time, especially when HAM and VER are in outer space lapping 1 second faster than the rest of the field.

And Qatar it's better to go way wide than to ride those kerbs. Everyone saw what they were doing to tires and wings all weekend.

F2 race was a total shit show with an accident right at the starting grid not even being the only accident to bring out the red flag. Just absolutely garbage. The track looks fun but there's so much congestion on the track that I wonder if it'll actually race well.

Hopefully the F1 crew can get it right but so far the concern that the track might be a little narrow and dangerous are holding true.
