It's absolute bullshit that they started the lap saying lapped cars can't overtake, then say nah go ahead and overtake, but only let the cars between max and Lewis unlap before restarting the race. The championship was won over a season, not a race, but this race was absolute bullshit. Just straight trash.

Is it not an all or nothing thing to realign everyone? And not just the exact number of cars between 1st and 2nd?

To say nothing of doing that at the exact moment you bring in the safety car with no warning

Massi all but told Toto he wanted to end the race as a race, and did what he did to enable that. Pretty bullshit though, no way a person can claim otherwise

Looking it up and yes it's all or nothing for the lapped cars, so what Masi just pulled at the end there was 100% against the rules.

Mercedes definitely protesting the ever living fuck out of this.

We can all agree Brazil fucked everything up. Both Merc and RB this entire year had some things handed to each of them.

Merc were lucky to repair Hamilton's car at Silverstone and still win with that 10 second penalty.

Max got a "race" win at Spa when it should have been no contest.

Merc were fortunate in Brazil that sprint qualifying is a thing and Hamilton's "no quali time set" was served in an almost pointless race. Likewise Max didn't get tossed the book for the Turn 4 incident.

Jeddah was just a joke and result of Brazil.

And today. Just yikes. Full botch job on everything here. If safety is such an issue, get those yellows/safety cars out faster ffs. No consistency with the rules. At this point, the damn WDC should have been given to both of them because of how much meddling Masi/FIA did this whole year.

Since Silverstone, it has been a shitshow on the stewards end. But damn, Toto claiming bribery and having it heard in public was just lol.

Also fuck Liberty. The Team radio to Race Control shouldn't have been broadcast all season. I know for Baku, the first time we got the radio, that was a safety case and everyone was like "Wow, that's nice." But since then, it's been a bullhorn for complaining and I loathe the complaining Horner and Toto did the rest of the way.
