Sorry to see Mick crashing, stepping into old mans shoes, especially a legends is one of the hardest things to do in life. You start with sky high expectations regardless of your limits and capabilities. What would be a great achievement for someone else becomes a disappointment for you.

Look on engineers face during crash was more of “fuck the cars gone” rather than “I hope Mick’s fine.”

They mentioned that the biggest reason Mick didn't race was not because the car couldn't be ready but because if he had crashed again then they'd be so low on spare parts that they might not be able to field both cars come next race. Don't blame em, especially when even a small gust of wind could spin you out around Jeddah.

Visually going down the strip will be cool looking but in terms of the actual course layout that kind sucks.

The November NA/SA swing will be CotA, Vegas, Mexico, and Interlagos. Be crazy if this is happening Thanksgiving weekend. It's also going to be a local Saturday night race.

Stroll assessed 2 penalty points on his SL and a 3 place grid penalty - irrelevant since he was starting last at any rate. A few days ago someone made a compilation video about how Stroll does not check his mirrors and turns in on a bunch of people/drifts like he's the only one on the road. Stewards must have watched it.
