Idk man, during the spa rainout the reason for why they weren't afforded a refund was cause "technically" the event happened according to the rules. During this one, the event happened but they were kicked out prior. I'm not a lawyer but I hope the context matters in this case.

And another 24 Hours of Daytona in the books. More like the 23 hours and 58 minutes of Daytona - such an odd ending. Penske Porsche takes GTP/Overall. Tom Blomqvist made it a tight race chasing in the Cadillac after the final caution but couldn't make it past and navigate the traffic.

17 year old American Connor Zilisch is one of the youngest winners ever as United Autosports USA wins LMP2.

Rexy and AO Racing didn't have the pace to win GTD Pro coming in 2nd to the Ferrari Risi Competizione.
